Boarding 101 at In Your Dreams Farm

We offer customizable boarding packages for everyone.

•    All breeds, genders, and ages welcome
•    All disciplines are welcome
•    Because we value the happiness of our clients, we allow outside trainers of your choice to teach you at IYD.
•    Board is due on the 1st of the month after the 5th of the month it will be considered delinquent. A late fee of $50 will be charged.

•    Junior riders must wear ASTM approved hard hats
•    Negative coggins, proof of immunizations, signed boarding contract are required.
•    Waivers are required for all riders
•    All new boarders must pay first and last month’s board, plus a non-refundable $50 Maintenance/ Damage  fee
•    All outside riding instructors must carry their own insurance before being able to teach lessons at IYD.
•    Arenas will be drug 2x a week
•    Daily turnout, weather permitting. Our boarders will get to their pick preferred turnout time. Ideally their chosen time doesn’t conflict with their chosen riding time. But if it does once they are done riding the boarder is responsible for turning out their horses to finish their allotted turnout time.
•    If boarder is a trainer and is teaching at the farm, they have to have their own waiver and In Your Dreams Farm must be named in it.
•    Last month’s board cannot be applied to the month’s board before notice was given.
•    Max grain daily- 8 lbs a day
•    Max hay qty daily-6 flakes per day
•    Max qty of shavings – 5 bags per week
•    Space is available in tack room for your saddle and bridle, additional storage available in our large loft.
•    We require a signed contract with 30 days’ notice
•    3 to 5 horses max will be turned out in pasture at one time.
•    Blanketing of horses happens ONE time an evening. If you’re still riding you must re-blanket your horse or they will not be blanketed that night.
•    Boarders must provide their own containers for their specialty feeds.
•    Daily turnout up to 6 hours per day, as weather permits
•    Each Boarder must pick a turnout time; Winter= A (9am-1pm) or B (1pm-4:30pm) Summer A (9:00am-2pm) or B=Night (5pm-8am)
•    If an owner has a insurance policy on their horse please provide IYD Farm with a copy of said policy for your horse(s) file.
•    IYD does charge holding fees additional if owner or vendor cannot manage their horse(s) care appointment
•    Management makes arrangements for horse care such as farrier and veterinarian appointments, only if boarder is a member of our BMA Program
•    Ordering and confirming current inventory of supplements is done by owner and brought to farm
•    Stallions welcomed but must pay for individual turnout.
•    Summers are HOT in Georgia. We do charge a “fan fee” in the summer months to ensure your equine stays cool when they are in their stall. Owner Supplies their own stall fans and they will not be used from 9pm-6am
•    The safety of our staff and clients is paramount. For that reason, we will charge a “safety fee” for horses that are harder to handle or deemed dangerous to handle.
•    All short term boarding must be pre-arranged and paid in advance. If visiting or not paying for a month of board at a time the charge will be $30 per day
•    We charge an additional $25.00 for a window stall or $10.00 if you are enrolled in our riding academy or training packages.
•    If it is necessary for a boarder to terminate their agreement before its term, the board will be assessed at the higher monthly rate
•    Returned checks will be a $65 charge.
•    Unless prearranged Move-in date is the 1st of the month and move out date is the 30th/31st of the month
•    For Dry Stall Boarders Their Horses stall must be cleaned by 11:00 AM some flexibility depending on your turnout schedule.
•    Holding stalls charge is $15/day or $350/month
•    If your horse leaves our farm mid-month we do not pro-rate board or refund. We also do no prorate board if your horse is at a show, clinic, or vet hospital
•    Owner is financially responsible for their horses damage to IYD Property i.e. stall or fencing
•    In Your Dreams Farm is not held liable for anything damaged or left at the farm. Anything left unclaimed after 60 days will be donated or discarded, and In Your Dreams Farm, will be held harmless.

Our Standard Spring/Summer Schedule

7:30 AM: All horses are fed breakfast and supplements (group A 9 AM -2PM) are turned out to pasture, weather permitting. Group B horses are given morning hay.

Stalls are cleaned,   Buckets are cleaned.

2:00 PM: (Group A) horses are brought in from the fields and all horses are given hay. Horses on the lunch program will also receive their feeding then.

4:00 PM: Hallways are blown

4:30 PM: Horses are fed dinner and supplements if needed. Group B is turned out for the night (Group B 5PM- 8 AM)

5:30 PM: all stalls are picked and hay is given to horses in for the night. Water is topped off.

9:00 PM Night Check Occurs
